I know its been a LOOONG time

Yep, I know don't fall over!! I am back scrapping and even blogging! I NEVER thought it would happen but after a LOONG break I actually realised I missed my scrapping friends/family so much that I decided to come back to my little scrap desk and have a play!
I have to thank those who have already contacted me in regards to teaching and designing. It was all a little overwhelming and I will just be dipping my toe in and taking it slow for a while. But I must say it feels good to be back.

I have tackled a few challenges to get me started this month. It feels strange using all my old supplies again!

So I have had a go at the challenge over on the "MORE THAN WORDS" site. This is a new site to me but I loved the idea of this challenge so here it is......

Lots of paint and of course circles!!!!!

The next challenge I had a go at was from the awesome stire I have just discovered

I LOVE their latest moodboard challenge , the colours are amazing!!!

This is my entry......

I was ispired by the colours and the title and also the use of paint.

Then I had a go at this months challenge at
"SCRAP THE GIRLS". This was always a site I loved to play along with.

What a gorgeous mood board! Who wouldn't want to play along?

Inspired by the colours , it reminded me of a peacock for some reason? I used the title as inspiration and added a dandelion stamp using a gold brush posca pen .

And lastly I had an attempt at a sketch! I find sketches hard and as usual probably went off on my own little tangent lol!

I used the sketch at "STUCK SKETCHES".

And here is mine!

When I was going through my photos to find one to scrap ( Which was another thing I didn't have many new ones of) I found thi of my friend Fiona Partridge.  She is the craziest, funniest most talented lady I know and this made me giggle so I had to scrap it, after all that's what it is about remembering the memories!

So thanks for looking if you visit! I am enjoying playing along with all the challenges again!
See you soon!

Playing catch up!

As always lately my poor little blog is neglected! It is not intentional but sadly it has taken a back seat to the rest of my life at the moment.
But today I want to catch up on all my crafty shares that have been happening around the place.

Ok first.
Here is my latest layout for 7 Dots studio.
I have so many bits and pieces or scrap paper, my favourite stamps etc floating around my desk at the moment as I am struggling with time. ( Building a house, sporting commitments and a new job will do that!) So i challenged myself to use all these bits and pieces up in a layout and this is how I came up with this layout!

I love how I can mix and match my favourites from all the 7 Dots lines and come up with a fun bright layout like this! You can find all the products and details on the 7 Dots studio blog.

The next thing I would like to share is the latest challenge over on the Words and Paintery challenge site.

LOVE this colour combo!!! I thoroughly enjoyed doing this layout!!

So head on over and give it a go!!

Next is the latest creation for 2 Crafty chipboard!

Another layout of Maya's crazy faces! Lots of colour this time creating a background as I have before with water colour pens and some water.

For all the details and products used visit the 2 Crafty blog!
Ok I need to go get messy and meet some deadlines . Thanks again!

Happy New Year and a Tutorial...

Happy New Year!!
I can't believe that we are in yet another year! I must admit I was happy to see the back of 2014! It had some awesome moments but some very low moments too!
I feel like it has been forever since I actually had time to sit and blog and maybe even create !
Last year this poor little blog was so neglected with me working every day and huge sporting commitments with the children. I don't think I have been the best member of any of my design teams either :( but it certainly isn't because I am not interested, just been a busy year!

Our house is at plastering stage yah!!! I will post some pics soon!
But today I want to share with you my latest layout for 7 Dots which also has a tutorial with it if you head over to their blog!

Lot's of 7 Dots products mixed with some watercolours and some Flutterby Designs veneers!.

See you again soon! Off to do some arty stuff!!

Happy hands.....

Hi again everyone,
I have another project to show you using some more gorgeous 2Crafty products.

I have a fun bright layout to share with you using all of my favourite pieces!

This layout is all about having "happy hands"...my dirty, arty hands!!!
This photo was taken just after completing a fun and inspiring workshop with Lisa Oxley.
I really wanted to depict her bright, artsy style in my own layout!

To create the background I used various colours of Faber Castell Gelatos, blending with water.
I have added stamping and stencilling and of course stitching.

I have used my all time favourite "chevron bits " and coloured them with Gelatos as well.
I love to frame my photos and these 6 inch revolution circle frames are PERFECT!! I love using these!!! Once again just coloured with Gelatos to match the colours in my background

Another must have item in my stash are these tiny ATC stars!! I find myself reaching for them all the time!

Brave boy and 7 dots...

Hi everyone
Just wanted to share with you my latest layout published in the 7 Dots studio blog.
This is a photo of my boy straight after having nose surgery earlier this year, He woke up like nothing had happened.

I have used lots of amazing products from the latest "Destination unknown range". The colours are amazing!

New do!!

Hi!
I have just popped in to share this layout! I LOVE these pics of Will's new do! Hair do I mean! LOL!
I think he likes it too as he wanted photos !

I created this layout for the latest challenge at the Paperdvizhink site! The colour combo this time was this....
I created this layout while at scrappy weekend last weekend which I organised in Port Fairy. I had the best time! We laughed . we ate, we talked and we did some "speed journalling". Yep you heard right, speed journalling! We had been exploring the little shops in town and we had bought a book to alter from the op shops. We then decided it would be fun to each adda piece of ourselves to each others journals. The catch was you only had 3 minutes each round and then you passed it on! Well to begin with we all freaked out but then it was so fun and so addictive we ended up journalling for 7 hours!!! LOL! I will share these pages really soon when I photograph them!

I also want to share this one with you. I created this layout based on the sketch challenge at scrap the girls.

Ok, so I have used a bit of creative license here. I have rotated and instead of a banner I have added a series of circles.

I taught Maya how to make daisy chains and now I often find her doing so in the garden or anywhere we go that has daisies in the lawn.
